When it comes to restorations and veneers, the cosmetic dentist notes that the choice of material is key to a successful outcome. “You have to understand what’s going to work in different situations,’ he explains. “For example, someone with tetracycline staining may need a more opaque material for ample coverage. Likewise, someone who grinds their teeth will need something more durable - you want the end result to look attractive, and you also want it to last.”
Dr. Wiemeyer is committed to giving each patient a customized smile design; his “signature” look is one that suits the individual. “We look at a person’s facial characteristics, age and lifestyle to determine what will look most natural,” he explains. “A person’s smile has to complement his or her face and bone structure. I want people to notice how great my patients look, without realizing they underwent any type of cosmetice procedure.”

CEREC 3D
Our office proudly utilizes CEREC technology for restorations. With this new technology, we can create ceramic restorations, including crowns, fillings and veneers, right in our office, so it will only take a single appointment. A digital 3D camera creates a digital image, replacing the more traditional impression. The computer-aided design (CAD) software enables us to design and create a precise restoration specific to your dental needs. These highly durable restorations can also be color-matched for a more natural looking smile.
