Our digital impression scanner allows our doctors to take a highly accurate digital impression for your crown, bridge, implant, night guard, or sleep apnea appliance. We’re delighted to offer this state of the art option that makes our patients more comfortable during treatment, while providing the best available care.

SINGLE VISIT CERAMIC RESTORATIONS

Our office proudly utilizes the latest technology for restorations. With this new technology, we can create ceramic restorations, including crowns, fillingsRead more and veneers, right in our office, so it will only take a single appointment. A digital 3D camera creates a digital image, replacing the more traditional impression. The computer-aided design (CAD) software enables us to design and create a precise restoration specific to your dental needs. These highly durable restorations can also be color-matched for a more natural looking smile.

CLEARCORRECT® ALIGNERS

If you’re looking for a more pleasing smile, Wiemeyer Dentistry offers ClearCorrect as a solution to straighten your teeth. ClearCorrect aligners are a convenient and discreet solution for achieving straighter teeth. They are comfortable, removable, nearly invisible, and allow you to continue your daily activities without disruption. You can eat what you want, maintain your regular oral hygiene routine, and enjoy the benefits of teeth straightening without anyone noticing you’re undergoing treatment.

Crafted from a multi-layer medical-grade plastic developed through years of research and trials, ClearCorrect aligners offer transparency and resilience. Their design, featuring a smooth flat trimline that extends past your teeth, makes them 2.5x more retentive than aligners with a scalloped trimline. This unique feature eliminates the need for additional engagers, providing an efficient and comfortable teeth-straightening experience.

KÖR® WHITENING

Widely recognized as the world’s most effective teeth whitening system, KöR offers cost-effective solutions from phenomenal home whitening for average patients, to astonishing treatment of tetracycline cases and everything in-between.

THE PERIO TRAY® BY PERIO PROTECT

Wiemeyer Dentistry offers a non-invasive therapy for gum disease. Gum disease is caused by a bacterial infection that is hidden below your gums. Dental cleanings can effectively treat the bacteria, but when you return home the cycle often continues. Bacterial cells grow back in just hours after a cleaning, and toothbrush, rinse and floss can’t reach deep enough to address the infection at home.

The Perio Tray® by Perio Protect gently applies medication deep under the gums to fight the infections. You use it at home for just minutes each day. The Tray is comfortable, flexible, and custom-fit precisely for your mouth. With Perio Tray® therapy, you have a new chance against the infections. In additional to healthier gums, patients commonly report whiter teeth and fresher breath. If you’ve been told that you have gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), ask our team if Perio Trays are right for you.

ADULT FLUORIDE TREATMENT

Many dentists and hygienists recommend fluoride treatments for their adult patients. But since most insurance plans only provide benefits for fluoride treatments up to age 18, you may ask yourself, “Do I really need fluoride treatment? I thought those were just for my kids.”

What you need to know as a dental consumer is that studies have shown topical fluoride applications performed by a dental professional create significant benefits for adults who have moderate to high risk for cavities.

As a result, you should seriously consider fluoride treatments if you:

  • Take prescription medications. Many prescription medications reduce saliva flow or otherwise create dry mouth. A reduction in saliva increases your cavity risk.
  • Have gum recession. Gum recession exposes part of the root surface of teeth. These areas are softer than the hard enamel at the top of the tooth, which makes them more susceptible to decay.
  • Have restorative work such as crowns or bridges. Fluoride can help protect the seams of these restorations, ultimately protecting your investment.
  • Have braces. Braces make it more challenging for patients to maintain good oral hygience. Fluoride can keep the teeth strong and cavity-free during orthodontic treatment.
  • Have a history of cavities. If you have had cavities in the past, you are at a higher risk of getting them in the future. Fluoride treatments are a great way to prevent more cavities in patients who are already prone to them.
  • Don’t floss every day. If your oral hygiene is not ideal, fluoride could be just the thing to keep your neglect from leading to cavities between your teeth.
  • Have sensitive teeth. Diets high in acidic foods and beverages, gum recession, tooth grinding and increased use of whitening products all tend to produce sensitive teeth. Fluoride treatments re-mineralize tooth enamel and reduce sensitivity.
  • Are undergoing radiation treatment for cancer. Radiation damages saliva glands, thus greatly reducing the flow of saliva. Saliva neutralizes acids in the foods we eat and beverages we drink.

If one or more of these conditions applies to you, you should consider requesting a topical fluoride treatment. Investing in the benefits of fluoride treatments could save you significant money long term.
